At the Runway, a Culinary Journey restaurant students develop a diverse skill set, from the art of food presentation to the creation of drinks right before your eyes.

During your meal, two distinct educational sessions unfold: a service lecture in the front of house and a kitchen lecture in the back of house.

Our menu changes periodically and features a carefully curated three-course meal, including a starter, main course, and dessert, accompanied by a selection of freshly baked in-house bread.

As a training restaurant, and with lectures taking place during service, instructors may offer guidance and corrections to enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and service.

Opening Dates for the Academic Year 2024-2025

Please note that the Runway, a Culinary Journey Restaurant's opening dates and hours are aligned with our students' timetables. The restaurant is closed during academic holidays and does not operate on weekends or public holidays.

  • 14th October 2024 – 20th December 2024

  • 6th January 2025 – 17th January 2025

  • 11th February 2025 – 11th April 2025

  • 23rd April 2025 – 30th May 2025

Restaurant examinations will be held between the 19th and 30th May 2025

Opening Hours from

Lunch
  • Monday to Friday

  • Guests must be seated by 12:00 pm.

Dinner
  • Thursday and Friday

  • Guests must be seated by 7:30 pm.

Late arrivals cannot be accommodated due to the training nature of the restaurant.

The restaurant operates with a single seating for both lunch and dinner, closing at:

  • 2:30pm for Lunch

  • 10:30pm for Dinner

For the second semester, starting on 11th February, updated opening hours will be provided closer to the date.

Dress Code

We kindly request that guests adhere to a smart casual dress code while dining at the Runway, a Culinary Journey Restaurant, unless otherwise specified. Please avoid wearing athletic or sports uniforms, slippers, beach sandals, or flip-flops. These guidelines help ensure a pleasant experience for all our guests.

Menus

At the Runway, a Culinary Journey, our menus are updated regularly to align with the students' study programmes. To help students achieve their learning objectives, we kindly request that patrons choose a variety of dishes from our menu, based on the daily availability provided by our staff.

To ensure a seamless dining experience, please inform us of any allergies when booking. Due to the training nature of the restaurant, allergies not communicated in advance may not be accommodated.

Reservations: For parties of 6 or more, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.

Special Dietary Requirments

To accommodate special dietary needs, please inform us when making your reservation. While ITS takes every precaution to prevent cross-contamination and adheres to communicated allergies, please note that our shared kitchen environment may limit our ability to fully prevent cross-contamination. Therefore, ITS cannot guarantee complete prevention for special dietary items.

Reservations

Reservations are essential and can be made online, by using the reservation system, or by phone at 2379 3100 during office hours (Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm).
